I have been friends with Chau Luu for, I think… 10 years now. Wow. After getting numerous hints from someone *cough* Chau *cough* about wanting to do a refresh to the design I first made for her acting/modeling website, I gave in. Honestly though, it wasn’t anything crazy… just, well… a refresh. She had some new photos that she wanted to use and wanted the “postcard” look that she had seen on a billboard. She offered to send me a pic of the billboard. But after a quick phone call, I understood what she wanted. The end result… a wider layout while avoiding default browser scroll. Sorry this is late, I had to figure out if I should use flickr or just host pics myself. Myself won, as usual, then I had to figure out why my CSS file was jacking up my lightbox… I’ll do research on flickr later.

So in celebration of St. Paddy’s Day, Guinness & a little man hoarding his Lucky Charms… here is Kerryann De La Cruz in green. I know that you guys have never seen most of these, I don’t even think Kerryann has. I can’t remember when I first met Kerryann, but it was one of my best shoots. She then ended up moving to sunny SoCal in the early part of 2006, btw…it’s 34 degrees in Seattle right now. I swear to god. Anyways… we had a chance to catch up the other day and it sounds like things are good. She is riding a ‘07 Buell XB9SX now, I want my R6. She is an instructor for track days, races her CRX with a team and yeah, she still gogo dances at like 10-15 different clubs in SoCal at any given time. Awesomeness.

Well, here I am writing my first post and it’s not easy. The first time is the worst, that’s what they say… right? Never mind, let’s get started.

When I was trying to figure out if I should do this, I had a lot of excuses. I always seemed too busy to sit down and put my thoughts together. Well that’s bull and we all know it; I think it was a lack of motivation. The thought of starting a new website got me amped, but then I remembered all the stress from ImportMix.  Boom goes the dynamite. So this time, I am doing things different. How? I’ll try to focus on photography and design, but there will be other stuff thrown in… just for the hell of it.

Just a disclaimer, I have never used Word Press so you’ll have to bare with me while I figure this out. I slapped this together in a day and signed up for a hosting plan last night. I would have launched sooner, but I had to wait 24 hours for a dedicated IP address.  I will be polishing up the design and layout in the next few weeks. So for the 2 people that end up here accidentally, don’t freak out if something is broken.

I will be adding old photo shoot material from ImportMix while I am getting ready to start on new material. Seattle Bellevue is still cold. Since I like shooting outside, I have to wait till it warms up… or leave Seattle.
